The concept is an elevated home care experience for the trusted classic air care brand Albatross. To give the product a boost from the original Albatross products we came to know over the years, I decided to elevate the usual Albatross experience by selecting fragrance profiles from European sensibilities, and gave the product a refreshed package design for their proposed air freshener line.

This FMCG air care project is for the acclaimed brand classic Albatross. PHILUSA has been an industry mainhouse in the Philippines with acclaimed consumer packaged products in health and wellness, baby care, personal care and home care, with brands like Rhea, Baby Flo, Cleene, and Mediplast, among others.
Their brief was to come up with a new fragrance collection, with no particular concept in mind for the fragrance profile. In the process of developing this product proposal, I collaborated with Mane’s R&D team to select the best air care fragrances in our laboratory, with fragrance oils being shipped from Le Bar-sur-Loup, France. We considered the fragrance profile sensibilities of the Filipino demographic for air care, and we chose the following scent directions to make up for 3 themes for the proposal:
The original design is a decorative plastic cone-shaped packaging meant to release the scent in open air. I redesigned the package of the air freshener to elevate the overall product experience, by placing the formulation in an aerosol container with a smooth-spherical shaped cap for an elegant finish. The packaging design is decorated with hand drawn illustrations of elements that convey the fragrance’s concept, for a rustic, porcelain-print inspired look.
